Welcome, fine fellows of the wonderful World Wide Web, Welcome to my little corner Blog!

I’m Siva Pradipta, but since we’re going to be friends (spoiler alert), feel free to call me Siva or Dipta. I started this blog in 2023 or 2024, and trust me, it’s my life achievement in the making (from my perspective). No excessive ads, because who wants to be that guy bombarding you with pop-ups? Not me.

So, Why Did I Start This Blog?

Well, here’s the thing: I’m technically a Civil Engineer. I’ve got a shiny Bachelor’s degree from a state university in my city and everything. I know, thrilling, right? But as much as I enjoy, say, pouring over blueprints and calculating load-bearing walls, it wasn’t exactly my calling.

Flashback to when I was a field supervisor on a resort project, working 90 to 100+ hours a week (yep, you read that right), and feeling like I was auditioning for an episode of Survivor: Concrete Edition. Somewhere between juggling tasks and clinging to my last shred of sanity, I discovered something pretty cool—writing & making contents kept me grounded. Like, really grounded.

Spoiler alert: I didn’t just survive that crazy job. I thrived. Made friends, learned a ton, and—wait for it—matured (cue applause). So, while I may have aged 10 years in 10 months, I’m officially an adult now. Or something like that.

My Completely Altruistic Intentions

I know what you’re thinking: “Why blog, dude?” Well, apart from wanting to practice my copywriting and digital marketing skills, I needed a place to share all the brilliant things swirling around in my head. And yes, that includes product recommendations that I’ve obsessively researched so you don’t have to. You’re welcome.

By the way, English isn’t my first language—or my second. (Surprise, surprise.) I’m from Southeast Asia, and I pretty much taught myself by watching PewDiePie and TED Talks (with subtitles, of course). Now I can binge-watch movies, stand-up comedy, and nature documentaries without captions like a boss. So yeah, I’m feeling pretty proud of myself for that one.

Also, fun fact: Before becoming a human jackhammer in the construction world, I dove into digital marketing courses for a good three months, which is where I discovered my first love for SEO and website optimization. Yes, I’m that nerdy.

Fast forward to 2023, and I finally mustered up the courage to launch this blog. It took a while, but hey, better late than never, right?

This blog? It’s going to be epic (I hope). I’ll be sharing some product or service recommendations, but I’m not stopping there. Expect randomness, deep dives, lighthearted rambles, and the occasional wisecrack. In short, it’s going to be a fun ride, and you’re invited.
